Facebook’s New Status Share Features Explained

To be more realistic, Facebook is feeling real pain with the launch of Google Plus and now it is the time for its users to enjoy more and more features which are being launched these days.

Now, Facebook has made major modifications on how you share messages/status on your wall. They have included 3 parameters before you actually update your status/message and control most of your privacy settings right before you share the message.'

How Does New Facebook Sharing Works?

The new message sharing bar has 3 new features namely “Tag who you’re with”, “Say where you are” and “Manage privacy right where you post”.

With the advent of “Tag who you’re with” you can actually tag the people who you are with and to do this you just need to click on the button “with add friend symbol” and just link persons with whom you actually are with. With this feature Tagging a person is made more simpler.

“Say where you are” is the feature which shares your current location. In order to share your location all you need to do is to click on “location icon” which will display the city which you are in and you can even share a particular place, like a park or cafe.

“Manage privacy right where you post” this is the one which is completely adopted from Google+. This features allows you to manage the privacy of your updates and you will be able to choose the list of people who will actually see your status updates, photos and profile info using the inline audience selector.
